It wasn't extraordinary, that's the problem. I got lucky recently and have been reaading some very good books, and although Hush, Hush is cute I suspect Miss Fitzpatrick will get better later on. In her life, I mean. When her style matures and becomes steadier. She wasn't boring, which is a plus, and she was... not original exactly but not lovely either. So three stars. As I said before, "cute."
